The comment character limit on dreamwidth is 16,000 characters so apps no longer need to be split into multiple comments; however this is at players' discretion.
Please use the form below and post your application in comments rather than linking if you can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask either of the mods. You can reach us through emails, IMs, or PMs.
A reminder for those waiting to hear back, please don't be worried if we skip yours while going through them. It only means we needed a little more time to research!
Helpful links!

There are other weaknesses associated with his being a homunculus-- he is immortal so long as the red stones are in his body. Being killed repeatedly drains his life source as does walking into an alchemical array meant to bind him as it causes the homunculi to vomit the stones back up and leave him extremely weakened and mortal. He is also weakened by being exposed to the remains of the person he's supposed to be. Greed is shown to be capable of moving around them even while he is in obvious discomfort, but other homunculi are shown to be paralyzed when exposed to their remains or outright faint. This is something that won't apply to him in the setting, but it will nevertheless still affect him because he is aware of his weakness-- it's a profound reminder that he isn't human even if there's no actual risk for him.
Another weakness would be how attached to people Greed gets. It doesn't happen often, but when it does happen, he's very protective of the people who have allied with him and he has a tendency to take betrayal extremely personally. It's difficult to gain his trust, but once a person does, he's a fairly trusting man and that is something incredibly exploitable-- he was genuinely blindsided by Kimbley's betrayal despite earlier banter that seemed to hint towards him not entirely trusting the man.
In terms of strengths, Greed is the Ultimate Shield. Even though in terms of the setting he won't have access to such an ability, given that his power is an ability to make himself indestructible, it gives him a sense of confidence and ego. It makes him a formidable opponent and even without his Ultimate Shield, he is clearly an expert a hand to hand combat. Even when extremely vulnerable from both being drained of the stones in his body and exposed to his own remains he is a formidable opponent and would more than likely be capable of holding his own in a fight even without his abilities to alter the chemical makeup of his own body.
He's also extremely charismatic-- moments after breaking free from is prison in the basement of Lab 5, Greed was able to sway the chimera being held into the lab onto his side very quickly by promising the chance to get revenge against the people who experimented on them, and indeed he managed to get more than just the chimera on his side judging by the sheer amount of people who associate with him in his brief time at The Devil's Nest.
Another strength of sorts is how easygoing Greed is. For someone who is hiding out from someone who wants to kill or recapture him, he's extremely relaxed. He's more concern when the military attacked the Devil's Nest that his fight has been interrupted than being caught. Though this could also be easily turned into a weakness because of how overwhelmed he can get when he gets over his head. All sense of that relaxation melts away and he can become very distracted and frantic, eager to protect his allies.

Samples
First Person Sample: [A man's face appears on the PokeConnect, staring curiously at it. The video shakes as though he's still playing with it, and it's a moment before he speaks.]
This thing on?
[There's a murmur from off camera and the man grins, showing off a row of shark-like teeth.]
Excellent. Hello there. The name's Greed. I've just arrived here in... ah, what was it called? New Bark Town. Yeah, that's it.
I've got a couple of questions.
Are the women here always so stiff? I offered to buy this beautiful woman in a short skirt a drink and I thought she was about to slug me. Something about not bribing "an officer of the law."
[Shrug.]
If someone could be so kind as to tell me if there are any women around here who can have fun I'd appreciate it.
[Where to start? He needs to do something. Dante can't stop him here. The other homunculi can't stop him here. He'll create his very own little kingdom.
Of course, he can't very well broadcast that to a bunch of strangers, can he? No, this is something he'll keep to himself. It'll be his little secret. His little surprise for this place.]
Oh, right. One more question: are there any bars nearby?
A man's gotta have a drink.
Third Person Sample: He had just stepped foot inside Dante's house. That much Greed knew for sure. It had been night out, and he had expected that things were not going to end well for him. But he hadn't even gotten a chance to see the old woman. Whatever happened, he supposed he wasn't going to complain.
More than likely, he would have died. But here, he had a chance. Some sort of chance, anyway. He felt... different somehow. He couldn't exactly tell what felt different, but it was there. And there had been a cat sleeping on the foot of the bed when he had woken up that brightened and meowed at him as soon as it saw he was awake. "Hello there," he said, reaching out to pet at the cat curiously. It had something on its head that looked strangely like a coin, but one brush of a thumb against it revealed that whatever it was, it was firmly attached to the cat's head.
"What's your name?" he asked the cat, smirking.
The cat responded with what Greed thought was a very strange meow. Oh, well. A cat was still a cat as far as Greed was concerned. "Well, if you don't have one, I'm going to call you Marta," he said, smiling just slightly. Hopefully the real Marta was doing fine. He had failed the others. The last thing that he wanted to do was find out that she had gotten hurt, too. If Al didn't keep her safe, he'd...
Well. He couldn't do anything here.
Normally, this sort of thing would bother him, but he was Greed. He had been prepared to die, but now dying didn't sound like such a good idea. He wanted to live. He wanted to find out where he was, and he was going to be taking the cat with him. Hopefully no one would miss it because he wasn't about to give it back.
That and he needed to figure out where the hell that music was coming from.
For now Greed was going to figure out where exactly he was. It wasn't much fun having to start over from the beginning. He didn't even have the opportunity to get help this time. "Say, Marta," Greed said, speaking even though he was certain the cat couldn't really understand him. "What if I were to tell you that I want you to help me find something? Find our very own pile of riches. If it's just between you and me-- well, maybe I won't mind sharing."
It had to be impossible, but he could have sworn the cat's eyes gleamed.
