Applications will be normally checked during the weekend following the first and third Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated, and we will allow one application per person during one application cycle. Remember, the most characters one player can have at a time is currently set at five.

Applications received after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday of the first and third weekend of each month will be checked the following app weekend unless otherwise stated.

We now ask that potential applicants post their application in comments rather than linking. If their application contains explicit references to 'hard' spoilers (character death, unforeseen plot twists, big reveals, he was evil all along etc), players should put the application in their own journal or their character's journal and link it, making sure to mention the presence of spoilers within. For further clarification on our spoilers policy and whether or not your application needs to be linked, please check this page. Thank you for your cooperation!

The comment character limit on dreamwidth is 16,000 characters so apps no longer need to be split into multiple comments; however this is at players' discretion.

This is a PokéConnect post--one that will be on the character's journal, broadcast to the network. Although it is short, it needs to show how your character would communicate with others, as well as be descriptive enough to express the character's voice without sounding too generic. <b>Third Person Sample:</b> The sample must take place in Route_29's setting. The minimum is 300 words. Please note that what we are looking for is an inner working into the character’s thoughts and actions, and how the character responds to the setting, not something that could be taken as an excerpt fanfic. You may use other characters to bounce your characters actions off of, but everything should still be mostly from their point of view.

First Person Sample:

[Rapunzel had a worried face on her features looking around as she found herself in some strange town that she has yet to know much about. She looked down at the communicator as she smiled softly, trying to hide her feelings of worry.]

Okay, this is good. No, what am I talking about? Well, if anyone of you happen to know where my mother is, please tell her that I'm in a place called...

[Looking around, she looked in thought before she smiled softly. Whispers, forgetting she was still live on here.]

This is my very first time outside of my tower.... Maybe....

[Soon, Rapunzel hurried over to the forest and looked out in wonder at how big the land of this town was.]

This place really is amazing...

Third Person Sample:

Rapunzel felt like she literally hit her head hard enough to get knocked out like this as she lifted herself up from the bed--- Rapunzel stared wide eyed when she realized she wasn't in her tower, but in some strange room and that had such strange decorations. Her paintings on her walls... Pascal... Her tower... She jumped when she saw she was not in her normal lavendar dress, as she saw she was wearing some sort of short dress, her hair was in a braid, and she actually was forced shoes on her feet.

"Kecleon."

Rapunzel looked over and she gasped loudly as she let out a quick scream at the creature, before seeing it disappear just like... Now that she got a good look at the small.... creature, she saw it was a Chameleon just like Pascal. Speaking of her little friend, she looked around but so far only saw this little guy. Rapunzel hesitantly reached over and picked the small creature up as she placed him on her lap and she saw it staring up at her.

"You're a cutie aren't you? You remind me of my best friend, Pascal..." She looked around again to not find her friend before stating, looking down at the Pokemon, "I'm going to name you after him. Your name is Pascal." The small chameleon must have liked it as he was smiling.

Getting up, Rapunzel found that Pascal was now on her shoulder as she walked out of the room to find herself looking at stairs. Shaking her head, she began to walk down and her eyes widened as she spoke, "Oh my goodness..." She was definitely not home, not in her tower, and no sight of her mother anywhere. Right now, Rapunzel began to feel two different feelings inside of her as she looked back at her hair to see it reached her ankle thanks to it being braded a couple of times.

Being the freespirit she was feeling right now, Rapunzel cheered as she ran around the town yelling, "This is the best day ever!!" She ran all over the town until she made it to the edge of it by her guess as she saw the forest before her. Realization hit her as she brought a hand up to her forehead, "Oh no, this isn't good. I'm such a horrible daughter! I can't even follow a simple rule!" Rapunzel was in complete conflict with herself as she then smiled big and jumped around in a circle, "Oh my gosh! I am actually outside of my tower!"

"But mother would be so furious with me."

"But I am outside on my own!"

"What will I do if I'm not home during her three days trip?"

"But this place is absolutely massive!"

"Mother would be so disappointed." Rapunzel sat against a rock as she had her face in her hands as she conflicted her feelings. "What's a girl to do...?"

The personality is short and could stand to be more in-depth with the points it brings up, especially regarding how she interacts with and behaves towards others.
