Applications will be normally checked during the weekend following the first and third Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated, and we will allow one application per person during one application cycle. Remember, the most characters one player can have at a time is currently set at five.

Applications received after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday of the first and third weekend of each month will be checked the following app weekend unless otherwise stated.

We now ask that potential applicants post their application in comments rather than linking. If their application contains explicit references to 'hard' spoilers (character death, unforeseen plot twists, big reveals, he was evil all along etc), players should put the application in their own journal or their character's journal and link it, making sure to mention the presence of spoilers within. Name: Apple Bloom

Personality: If there's just one word that can describe Apple Bloom it would be impatient. Impatient to explain herself, impatient to get her cutiemark, and even too impatient to relaize what she really is good at. So much so she tries to get people to help her when she doesn't have her cutiemark. Despite these neagtive qualities, Apple Bloom does have some good points. She is very close to her sister Applejack even though they frequently fight with each other. So much so that when her friend Sweetie Bell gets into an arguement with her sister Rarity, she allows Sweetie Bell to borrow her but just for the day.

When Apple Bloom, Sweetie Bell, and their friend Scootaloo decided to create a group dedicated to 'blank flanks' finding their cutiemarks called the Cutie Mark Crusaders. They do sometimes have difficulties with each other agreeing on the proper action to take. (Though with Apple Bloom usually agreeing with whatever dangerous idea that Scootaloo comes up with, this doesn't happen too often. Sweetie Bell is more or less there as a netural voice, though it seems she prefers safer ideas to the dangerous ones.) Scootaloo and Apple Bloom at times fight with each other more than than not. Kid stuff like how to call a chicken and what one of the statues in a courtyard should be called.

Apple Bloom appears to be the one more than the others to panic once things start going downhill. Case in point: when it was discovered that the Crusaders fed their teacher a Love Poison instead of a Love Potion she starts panicking, thinking up of all sorts of terrible things akin to the end of the world (or at least Ponyville) before her friends stop her and help cure the Love Poison. In short, Apple Bloom is a little forceful and impatient but in her heart is in the right place. She's a kind hearted filly who has yet to learn patience and understanding.
Strengths/Weaknesses:

Apple Bloom is foremost a confidant pony, if a little pushy at least at first glance. She's assertive with both her friends and her family, and always willing to tackle any problem or challenge. In Route's case she would replace the goal of getting her cutiemark with being the best trainer ever. While not as strong as her siblings Applejack and Big Mcintosh, she is physically strong for her age, on one instance helping round up a group of Pinkie Pie clones running amuck using rope. She is very close to her whole family including her sister.

On the other hand... She has an impatient side to her when she wants something, usually on discovering her Cutie Mark. On one occasion she lied after contracting something called the cutie pox which had multiple cutie marks appearing on her, during which she couldn't control herself. She later apologized to her friends for the way she acted. Another trait of Apple Bloom's is her single minded way in trying to figure out her cutie mark. She has a talent in carpentry and building, so much so that she rebuilt Applejack's rundown treehouse into something amazing.

... hello. Hopefully this is working and people can see me. Howdy, I'm Apple Bloom. I've been reading up on these Pokemon critters. I bet I can be a very strong trainer! I just need to get going. If anyone has heard of anypony named Applejack, Sweetie Belle or Scootaloo, please let me know. I can do tthis!

Oh, and if they are here and see this? I'm fine. This is Kicks, my partner. She's a Meinfoo the weird encyclopedia thing says. Bye! I'm going to see if I can catch something!

Third Person Sample:

Apple Bloom, Cutie Mark Crusader woke up with a jolt when she heard a loud noise. As she slowly opened her eyes, she put her front hooves on the ground and tried to hop up off her bed. Only two problems: one she was not home and two, instead of hooves she had claws? Afterwards, Apple Bloom's voice could be heard for quite a while in New Bark Town. She put her what do you call them, fingers to her mouth to keep from screaming again. "What in Ponyville is going on? What happened to me? I don't see anyone here I recognize. No Sweetie Belle or Applejack or even Scootaloo."

She was in somepony's house except for a change in body and wearing clothes (these particular clothes were a pair of jeans and yellow shirt, not that Apple Bloom ever wore anything like that before), Apple Bloom withheld her freaking out to check outside. Or she would have, if weren't for falling flat on the floor. She knew she was not hurt, but still that hurt. "Ow... This is going to be hard walking on two legs now. " Without meaning to, her hand pressed the the small ball by her chest and out a brillant red light showing a small pink and pale yellow bipedal creature.

"Um... hi?" With a cry of 'Meinfoo' the creature helped the slightly larger Apple Bloom until she had recovered her footing. "You could have warned me before doing that. I'm Apple Bloom" Meinfoo just gave a slight nod, and followed her trainer as Apple Bloom walked outside the house. She almost lost her footing agian when she stared up into the sky and the town's buildings.

"This is definitely not Sweet Apple Acres or even Ponyville. Where the hay am I? Was this some sort of magic thing? Did I volunteer for some sort of magic test of Twilight's? I don't think I did..." Apple Bloom then felt a tug on her leg. She looked down to see Meinfoo with a hand on her stomach. "Hungry, huh? That's see if I have something a critter like you can eat." Apple Bloom grabbed some food and gave it to her who then gobbled it right up.

"Once I figure what's going on, how would you like to come with me?" Meinfoo gave an affirmative nod.
