Applications will be normally checked during the weekend following the first and third Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated, and we will allow one application per person during one application cycle. Remember, the most characters one player can have at a time is currently set at five.

Applications received after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday of the first and third weekend of each month will be checked the following app weekend unless otherwise stated.

We now ask that potential applicants post their application in comments rather than linking. If their application contains explicit references to 'hard' spoilers (character death, unforeseen plot twists, big reveals, he was evil all along etc), players should put the application in their own journal or their character's journal and link it, making sure to mention the presence of spoilers within. Personality:
Allenby radiates a spunky and energetic demeanor and above all else, she is a free-spirited individual. Her desire for independence is not so easily bound; having lost her parents at a young age and living most of her life with a closed-off upbringing of harsh combat training was undoubtedly the drive beneath her strive for true freedom. Despite any unsatisfactory conditions that may be present, she actively tries to seek fun and excitement in even the worst of her situations. As was evident during the Gundam Fight finals in Neo Hong Kong, she seized any opportunity to break out of her enclosure away from the Neo Sweden crew and experience the city for herself. She is not easily brought down, though she is not immune to those bouts of sadness, especially in relation to her past and upbringing and would often try to think optimistic thoughts to cope with the situation. Allenby's mannerisms could easily label her as impulsive and short on patience.

Though she isn't anti-social and is rather quite friendly, Allenby had experienced little interaction with the outside world as she grew up and, in conjunction with her combative childhood, often expresses her emotions through physical activity- notably, dashing through the streets or swinging punches with fellow combatants. Once somebody gets to know her well and befriends her, they will find a very good and trustworthy friend and her enthusiasm will overpower any hint of a girl with a rigid upbringing. Occasionally, she will tease and she shows a hint of friendly arrogance towards rivals whom she will not hesitate to pick a fight with, but all of this is done in good, benign fun. To say she can be fiercely loyal to her friends is quite literal; when anybody she shares a bond with is in trouble, she is willing to go the extra mile to help them, even if she finds herself standing up against impossible odds or if her course of action defies rules or codes; prominently, she helped aid the Shuffle Alliance multiple times, despite them being rival Gundam Fighters she was in competition with.

One very noteworthy trait to Allenby is her trust in other people, a trait which didn't always line up with her presumed allegiance. She was distrustful towards her own team, the Neo Sweden Space Forces (in particular, the crew of scientists that monitored her progress), and showed bitter resentment of them for forcing her into her role against her wishes, especially with the experimental Berserker System implemented into combat which painfully reduced her to an almost soulless fighter. Upon monitoring her brain activity, the crew would be met with a very irate response from the fighter, displeased at their notion of prying into her mind. On the flipside, she was easy to trust Neo Japan's Domon Kasshu and Rain Mikamura through the common bond she shared with the former, and was eager to go as far as sneaking out and sharing her nation's top-secret Mobile Fighter technology to install into Domon's Gundam (much to Rain's justified dismay). It is not unusual to infer that those who have common interests or even a background that she can easily relate to may find her to be a bit clingy, for it was not very often that she had found somebody who she felt may truly understand her. The bond she formed with Domon eventually resulted in her developing an infatuation with him, however she understood that her feelings were unrequited and she encouraged him to pursue his true love while she helped fend off the Devil Gundam.

Allenby also has quite a tough girl attitude and the passion she finds is not only participating in sparring matches, but in competitive activities overall. Allenby will not- and perhaps can not- abandon the thrill she receives from competition. She strives to be the best at hand to hand combat, and although it may not seem like she doesn't take her interests seriously with her carefree nature, her persistence is a trait that was ingrained into her from her early years. Even at simple games, she desires winning, especially virtual fighting games. However, win or lose, as long as it is a fair competition and she is having fun, she will be satisfied from the experience.


Strengths:
+ Physical strength. Allenby was conditioned to be a super soldier from early childhood, and therefore has proficient athletic abilities and hand-to-hand combat skills
+ Loyal to those who she deems trustworthy. Allenby is relentlessly willing to stay at the side of those who befriend her and will even take risks for them.
+ Confident and strong willed. Allenby takes pride in her skills and will persistently pursue her goals.
+ A good sport. She loves winning a competition, but prefers to compete on an equal level and won't throw a fit if she loses.
+ Some technical knowledge. Growing up in a science-based institution, she has some familiarity with technology. She doesn't know how to hack private sectors, however, and technology in the Pokemon world is likely very different than that of mobile fighters.

Weaknesses:
- Recklessness. Allenby is impulsive and impatient and does not always think her actions through.
- Social skills. Having limited social interaction during her youth, Allenby's use of physical action to express herself may not be well understood by those who don't share her ideal (and a general theme of the series) of "communicating through fists"
- Gravitation to others. In hand with the above, she can probably become a little too attached to like-minded individuals.
- Mischievous. As an enthusiastic free spirit, Allenby is bound to create mischief, whether intentional or not- and has done so before.

Anyone know what's up with that music and why it just loops over and over endlessly? It wasn't even that bad when I first noticed it, but now I can't stand it any more! Even the radio doesn't offer that much variety.

Oh, yeah. And this.

[She picks up the Pokegear to travel along with her and crosses the city limit line...] Listen... [...then crosses back over to the other side.] to that!

[If you're still watching this, she'll be travelling back and forth again, mystified by the sudden change in background music as she enters and exits New Bark Town until she hoists the gear camera level to her scowling face.]

Third Person Sample:

"A 'Fighting type', huh?" Allenby eyed the red and yellow musteline creature that stood before her, recalling the information that she gleaned from her Pokedex. She didn't really grasp what this type business was about yet, but she already liked the sound of it. "Tell me, can y' do this?"

She swung a fist at the air in front of her in demonstration. Then her other fist, and alternated punches over and over. Momentarily, the young Gundam Fighter raised an eyebrow at how much... slower? her punches were being thrown, but at least the attentive Mienfoo was picking up on her natural instinct and going through the motions with instinctual expertise before looking back up to her new trainer.

It took a moment of Allenby nibbling on her thumb nail as she pondered the next demonstration, finally snapping her fingers and taking up a stance with a smug grin. "Alrighty, little buddy, how about--- WAAHH!!"

The Pokemon's jaw dropped as she processed what just transpired: Allenby leapt up, swung her fists as she had done the last time, and in a blur of blue and pink had lost her balance only to fall and faceplant into the grass with a resounding thud. Tilting her head and approaching with caution, the fighting weasel chirped, half concerned, half shocked. "Mien?"

Lucky for her, the trainer stirred and groaned before looking upwards and gaining composure. She wore an expression of surprise complete with streaks of dirt and grass blades. "What's up with the gravity or whatever in this place anyways?" Allenby propped herself to her knees, fixating her gaze upon the bewildered Mienfoo. "Ahhh, sorry you had to see that; I'm usually better than that. But I guess that's enough training for now, right?" She thrust a fist forward to the mustelid, who, in relief, nodded with a huge smile and bumped her paw against the fist. "You know, I oughta give you a name, right, Sigrid... Siri?"

The newly christened Mienfoo wholeheartedly agreed.
