Applications will be normally checked during the weekend following the first and third Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated, and we will allow one application per person during one application cycle. Remember, the most characters one player can have at a time is currently set at five.

Applications received after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday of the first and third weekend of each month will be checked the following app weekend unless otherwise stated.

We now ask that potential applicants post their application in comments rather than linking. If their application contains explicit references to 'hard' spoilers (character death, unforeseen plot twists, big reveals, he was evil all along etc), players should put the application in their own journal or their character's journal and link it, making sure to mention the presence of spoilers within. For further clarification on our spoilers policy and whether or not your application needs to be linked, please check this page. Thank you for your cooperation!

Personality:

'Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of LAUGHTER'

Pinkie pie is the most outgoing and hyperactive pony. She is very energetic, playful, and fun. Her soul mission is to ensure every person she meets leaves with a smile. She will sing, dance, play instruments, and just about anything. Instead of walking, she hops happily. Pinkie Pie represents the harmony of laughter. No matter who the person is, she will greet that person and make sure that person smiles. Sometimes she will pull harmless pranks for some laughs. Even in danger, she will either look like she's scared or laugh it out. Pinkie Pie believes it's more fun to be scared or panic. During Nightmare Night, she runs frequently from Princess Luna, who once was Nightmare Moon, while screaming. She later explains she only did it on purpose because it's fun. She is fantastic when it comes to throwing parties. In case for emergencies, she keeps a ball inside a tree to play with outside. It's difficult to bring Pinkie Pie's spirit down. Even if someone tries to give her a hint like 'I got my eye on you', Pinkie will smile delightfully and responds 'Oh, I know! I got my eye on you too!'. She is very bubbly. This pony refuses to go anywhere without a smile.

'Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.'

Sometimes it's hard to take 'no' for an answer or a hint. For Pinkie Pie, it flies right over her head. She can be a very persistent pony if it means to object her goal. If someone refuses to be her friend, she will find a way to make it happen by studying and learning the person, approach the person differently, and many more. She will knock on the door or pop up from places where you least expect her. In most cases, she even tops Rainbow Dash's speed when Pinkie Pie suddenly appears next to her. Pinkie Pie knows no boundaries when her mind is in a one track. Her persistence can be annoying enough to make a pony's ear bleed. When Pinkie Pie tries to unite the ponies and the buffaloes of their differences with her song and dance, it backfires. Pinkie Pie tends to over exaggerate her help with problems. Most importantly, never ever break a Pinkie's Promise. If Pinkie Pie knows of this promise, she will make sure the promise is kept. If one dares to break the promise, Pinkie will follow that pony. Pinkie Pie raged when she thought Applejack broke it and followed her. Another time she followed Sparkle Twilight to make sure Sparkle didn't break her's.

For a pony who can be bubbly time to time, Pinkie Pie's memories are flawless. Pinkie Pie keeps track of everyone's birthdays and almost anything else that seems important. She remembers everyone's names in Ponyville. If anyone out of Ponyville was to visit, Pinkie Pie will be the first to notice. When Twilight Sparkle came to town, it surprised Pinkie Pie. Later Pinkie Pie threw a welcoming party for the new guest. In one episode Rainbow Dash tries to lie about helping 'Harry' to avoid Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie asks who this 'Harry' is because she doesn't recall anyone name 'Harry' in Ponyville.

Not only Pinkie Pie over exaggerates her giggles and happiness, she tends to do the same with her insecurity. When her friends refuses to show up for an after party for her pet, Pinkie Pie is paranoid. Quickly she believes her friends don't like her parties. Her puffy hair flattens down as she over reacts. Rainbow Dash had to drag her out because of Pinkie Pie's stubborn. In another episode, Pinkie Pie slammed the door on Twilight Sparkle when Twilight implied not all ponies are 'cut' for responsibilities. Because of that response, Pinkie Pie had to prove she was capable of taking care of children.

Like a flip of a switch, Pinkie Pie can flip back to her cheerful personality or go on a fix rampage. When the Pinkie Promise was broken by Applejack, Applejack had to explain to Pinkie Pie that the promise wasn't broken. After the explanation, Pinkie Pie's rage quickly dies out with a cheery 'okay' response. She sometimes acts like a dog when her friends are threatened in anyway. Pinkie Pie can be overprotective.

Hi everypony! It's Pinkie Pie here with a Pinkie update.

I had the most weirdest dream last night. I was walking on two hooves all the time! I mean, I walk on two hooves most of the time, just not all the time. And and--my front hooves looked like mini claws of a dragon or something, just like these!

[She holds up one hand moving her fingers.]

At least I wasn't a dragon or else I'd do dragon things like make mean faces. [She frowns showing her teeth with a mean look.] And breathe fire and stuff! [Then she taps her chin.] If I could breathe fire, making cake would be a lot easier because I can make cake and cookies anywhere I go. Of course, I have to be careful not to burn anything else. How much fire would come out anyway?

HMM... [Have a thinking Pinkie time.] It's all a mystery. [She smiles at the camera.] Oh well, that's it for the update, bye!

Third Person Sample:

Pinkie Pie was up at the Pokémon Center. There was a lot to do today, a lot indeed. After she heard one of her friends earned a badge, there had to be a party! Who else would throw a better party than Pinkie Pie herself? Pinkie Pie bounced around on her two feet as she pulled some streamers and rubber balloons out. It was too bad there was no helium to lift the balloons. Oh well, she could always tape them. Her Jigglypuff mimicked her trainer behind. When Pinkie Pie sang, the Pokémon joined as well. In this case, a song came to mind. Pinkie Pie bended her knees and dropped her body half way down then rose it up again and repeated. Jigglypuff did the same.

♪Today, we'll have a party today~
A gym was taken down in a flash~
From no one other than Rainbow Dash~♪

As Pinkie Pie sang, she hung some pink and red streamers close to the ceiling. Jigglypuff in the other hand helped by filling the air in the balloons. Pinkie Pie always laughed on how much Jigglypuff expanded her balloon. Pinkie would drop down and help her pokémon out. They even had a race who could blow the biggest balloon. Of course both balloons popped with a loud echo bang.

♪Today, we'll have a party today~
We'll celebrate with some victory cake and ice cream~
Like it was a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeam~♪

Jigglypuff responded cheerfully to the song. Pinkie Pie bounced off again. Then she came to a brute pause. "Oh silly me, I knew we forgot something. Bubbles, fill the bucket with confetti will you? We can't have a party without confetti."

Jigglypuff nodded with a salute and bounced away. Pinkie Pie turned away giving her full trust to her companion. Decorations were done, it was time to set the cake. Pinkie Pie went to retrieve the cake.

♪Today, we'll have a party today~
The cake is already done~
And here my friends will soon come~
One victory party todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay~♪

Cake was set on the table as Jigglypuff hoisted the bucket of confetti with a rope. Soon as Pinkie Pie's friends entered the center, Jigglypuff pulled the rope. Instead of confetti it was left over cake batter. Still Pinkie Pie smiled and giggled. "Ohh, oops. That should of been confetti. Are you going to finish that?"
