Applications will be normally checked during the weekend following the first and third Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated, and we will allow one application per person during one application cycle. Remember, the most characters one player can have at a time is currently set at five.
Applications received after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday of the first and third weekend of each month will be checked the following app weekend unless otherwise stated.
The comment character limit on dreamwidth is 16,000 characters so apps no longer need to be split into multiple comments; however this is at players' discretion.
Please use the form below and post your application in comments rather than linking if you can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask either of the mods. You can reach us through emails, IMs, or PMs.
A reminder for those waiting to hear back, please don't be worried if we skip yours while going through them. It only means we needed a little more time to research!

Samples
First Person Sample:
Does anyone know how large this bird will grow?
[Regarding the Gear screen with an honestly curious expression, Link quirked his head gently to the side, tipping the feed a little to show a very content Rufflet perched on his forearm. The bird looked nothing but a puff of feathers, but that little hint of red on its head has Link a bit excited.]
Do you think he will grow red feathers as he gets older, too? [Smiling warmly at the creature, Link's expression lowers into one that looks a touch homesick.] He reminds me of my bird back home. [Link was always able to go back to Skyloft when he had to, so being away for this long... It certainly is taking a toll.]
Third Person Sample:
It was nice, standing up so high above almost everything else. It was like being up on the Goddess Statue again, seeing as far as the eye could see, only this time it was a mostly unfamiliar city. With too hard streets, too tall steel structures, and creatures that aren't like anything he has seen before, Link still managed to bask in the warmth of the sun and the light breeze pressing at his back.
Hearing a small noise, a simple mew that makes him think of a Remlit first, Link turns and draws a warm smile to his face. The pink Skitty was pawing lightly at the edge, wanting to come up with him. Crouching with that smile growing even more, Link reached with both hands to rub at those little ears, exhaling a small sigh.
"Zelda, it isn't very safe to come up here. I wouldn't want you to fall."
The Skitty insisted though with a few more pawings, turning those big eyes up at her trainer and mewing pitifully. It was as if she were saying "but you're up there!", and Link only gently lifted her up to put her back on her paws a little further away from the edge. Giving a reassuring pet on the head, he moved to stand and turn back around to enjoy the remains of the sunset.
Except Zelda had a different idea, and was leaping onto his back and sinking her claws in to keep herself from falling. Starting in surprise and yelping in a mildly pained way from the feel of nails nicking his back through his shirt, Link waves his arms sharply then as his balance is offset. It was a no go though, and Link knew he would either fall or have to jump; so jumping it was.
With some kitty claws digging into his shoulders from a very surprised Pokemon, Link managed to freefall out of the way from street vendors before quickly pulling out his sailcloth, drifting the last few feet to the ground. Letting out a sigh of relief when his boots clacked harmlessly on the concrete, Link turned his attention to the Skitty on his shoulder, who still looked frightened out of her poor mind.
"I told you it wasn't safe to play on the ledge." He still wore a reassuring smile, reaching up to carefully ply her from his skin and rub her ears again, heading towards the building he fell from. Link needed the rest of his stuff, after all.
