Applications will be normally checked during the weekend following the first and third Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated, and we will allow one application per person during one application cycle. Remember, the most characters one player can have at a time is currently set at five.
Applications received after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday of the first and third weekend of each month will be checked the following app weekend unless otherwise stated.
The comment character limit on dreamwidth is 16,000 characters so apps no longer need to be split into multiple comments; however this is at players' discretion.
Please use the form below and post your application in comments rather than linking if you can. If you have any questions, feel free to ask either of the mods. You can reach us through emails, IMs, or PMs.
A reminder for those waiting to hear back, please don't be worried if we skip yours while going through them. It only means we needed a little more time to research!

Str/wks + poke info
+ Unfailingly courageous, he has a heart of gold and a will of steel. Jump off cliffs regularly? Sure, his bird catches him. Go to the land below that no one has been to in over a thousand years? Yeah okay, gonna git mah friend back. Walk into an active volcano after being warned it's hot enough to make your clothes light on fire? RUN REALLY FAST!
+ He's a good swordsman, even before he sets out for the surface. Link has been training since he was old enough to wield a sword, and while he doesn't have the brute strength that his classmate Groose would have, he's faster and has excellent footwork. Backflips and the like are very easy for him.
+ Excellent bird handler, he can fly with his Loftwing very well. This is noted several times in the beginning of the game, that Link's Crimson Loftwing is awesome, but it also takes a very close bond with the rider for the bird to soar as well as it does.
+ Link has no fear of heights after living in the sky all his life; even so, after winning the Wing Ceremony, he is gifted with the Sailcloth. It is an item that he can use to parachute his way down from high places, so really? He's got nothing to worry about, height wise.
+ Good at learning on the fly; he kind of has to all the time. Seriously? "Go down to the surface world and find Zelda" turns into an epic quest to protect his childhood friend from all sorts of crazy dangers. He even picks up all new weapons that he's never seen in his life, and can wield after only a few tries. Plus, playing a harp is very macho :| except he never had done it before, until it was shoved into his hands.
+ Very good with puzzles. He might need a few minutes to really work it out, but in the end, he always gets it. He's kind of always NEEDED to, in terms of 'how does this 3D key rotate to fit in the lock so I can get Zelda the heck out of this volcano'.
- Link looooves to sleep and could snore through just about anything. No, really, Zelda's loftwing had to go wake him up early for the Wing Ceremony; he'd otherwise have slept till the bell rang on it starting (and fall and fail the 'exam' because his loftwing was shoved in a cavern, courtesy of his bully classmate Groose.)
- He's not exactly a heavyweight, so bigger things can knock him off his feet if he's not prepared. He trains in footwork and swordsmanship, not wrestling
goatsbears. Link is definitely one of the fastest sword swingers of the Knights, probably not too far behind Pipit (a senior of his).- Daydreamer. He'll let his mind wander unless something very serious is going on (aka Zelda falling to the surface world. brb rescuing!) One of his classmates berates him for living in a dream world, being inattentive. (There's even a guess he sleeps in class.)
- Using his loved ones against him will bring out the rare hotheaded temper. Which would make it easy to beat him up until he calmed down; Ghirahim exploits it in the beginning, catching Link's sword and using it against him a few times during the first fight they have.
- There is actually almost a joke on Link being late that starts with Groose complaining, but it seems to perpetuate through the first levels in the game. Going through Skyview Temple just in time to... fight a bad guy who is after Zelda, who already left. He goes through the Earth Temple next, hot on the trail of Zelda, and finds out partway through that she's been captured. Gets to the end, she's escaped, and he's two steps behind her yet again. Impa berates him rather harshly for it, so one would think he would never wind up being late again... except he winds up late one more time, when Ghirahim finally kidnaps Zelda.
-/+? He may not be as oblivious as his descendants, but Link isn't exactly the smoothest talker. He has some awkward dialogue choices with girls (Zelda, and in the event you feel like hitting on Peatrice), but they definitely sound honest. So, as derpish as he gets, Link can tell when someone is making googoo eyes at him. And take it like a pro. Even if she is making hand hearts at him and saying 'OH DARLING I'M SO GLAD TO SEE YOU, WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU TODAY~~~???'

I would like to receive an Eevee for Link as while they start as the same creature, each Eevee has different circumstances, different personalities, that make them "who" they are. The ability to change into so many different types is something neat to parallel with how there are many different Links; each Link may wind up with a different type, because while all Links may be courageous, they have a different way of going about their destiny.
