☆ BONUS INFORMATION 2: ROOM ALTERATIONS ☆
That previously-inviting fruit that was hanging from the trees in here are no longer looking quite so palatable; at first it's just signs that whatever you're holding is obviously likely not any good — the fruit is squishy in ways that fruit really shouldn't be, and even if you're tempted to try to bite into that apple anyway (though really, why would you) it'll just fall apart in your hand. After a while, however, it becomes obvious that something's wrong with the trees — the fruit is rotting from the inside, and those vines are looking awfully sick...
THE ARMORY
On the walls outside the doors, it seems that someone's taken the time to hang tapestries when you weren't looking — though to those who have seen the books in the library, its message isn't a comforting one.
If you bear your sword, with claws and fangs we will exact a toll;
In finding this sword, you have lost so much...
THE ICEHOUSE
Those in the southern part of the castle will notice that things are seeming a bit...damp, as far as the floor goes; investigating further will reveal that the Icehouse has started to melt of its own accord. Odd, because the temperatures don't seem to be rising in any other part of the castle — and what are those shapes beginning to reveal themselves through the melting ice? A rotting pouch? A quiver of arrows? A rusted gauntlet? Strange...
THE HALL OF TAPESTRIES
Those entering the castle's resident killbox will find that the tapestries have quite simply gone missing; there appear to be scratches on the wall, however, and they'll steadily get deeper as the evening wears on. Before long a message will be visible, though large amounts of it appear to have been scratched out...
The legend ############## has been all but forgotten, but to a few...
The legend of a world on the other ################ his world.
THE KITCHEN
A similar message to the one in the tapestry hall can be found carved into the area above the countertops, again darkening as time goes on.
Eat together at the same table; pick their bones clean.
THE SPOOKY GARDEN
Somehow those statues are looking less "familiar" and more "foreboding", though you can't quite work out why — it might have something to do with the sudden motion you're not-quite-seeing out of the corner of your eye. But surely nothing's really there that shouldn't be, right? Well, either way, there's one thing that definitely isn't your imagination, and that would be how cloudy the reflections are getting in the water as the fountain begins to run dark...
THE GRAND HALL
That large blank wall at the back of the room isn't so blank anymore; the same sort of rough lettering has been carved into the walls here, too, and while some of the sections are illegible, it seems that someone really wanted to get a message across...
You owe all to the Pokémon. But we sealed the Pokémon away.
######## fear #### it
Those with courage, ########### open the door. ###### eternal ######### awaits.
Betray not your anger, lest ###### will come, and weep not with sorrow, or ###### will draw near.
You will go deep, deep, drawing no breath

THE STAIRWELL
Did the stairwell always echo like that before now? Every footfall against the stone steps seems to ring out hollow now, and there's a certain heaviness to the air — a sense of foreboding that makes it clear that whomever you are, you aren't wanted here. If you're taking the stairwell in the dark, you might feel the changes before you see them; if you've brought a light source in, they aren't hard to miss: here and there, etched into the stone in deep and recent grooves that feel as though they were made with claws, are long arrows pointing down...
