I wrote up a few additional paragraphs on the subjects you guys wanted!

Regina's relationship with her family is complicated at best and downright nightmarish at worst. Her mother in particular is responsible for a lot of her problems. Regina holds a lot of anger and resentment towards her, even though at the same time there's a part of her that wanted her mother's approval and love, to the point that before her death Regina was on the way to letting her back in her life despite the fact that she killed her true love. When she died, Regina was actually fairly upset about it and it took her a while to fully recover from it as well, resenting Snow White even more than she had before.

And then there's Zelena, who Regina considers a thorn in her side from the moment she learned of her. The two have a very antagonistic relationship from the moment they meet. Regina has no love for her sister and the two of them have been in numerous fights. Regina's shown that she wouldn't hesitate to kill her if it came to it, especially because she's constantly trying to take everything from Regina out of jealousy, including Robin Hood. Because of all that Zelena's put her through, family ties mean nothing to Regina when it comes to her sister. She brings out a dark side in Regina that isn't usually there anymore, when she's around Zelena, Regina just can't feel anything but anger and bitterness.

Her relationship with Robin Hood is another complex one. For the longest time, Regina didn't think the two of them could ever work out, given how many times happiness has been taken from her. As her relationship with him grew, however, Regina started to grow something that she hadn't thought she could have again- hope. Regina finally decides to give it a shot and really commit to a relationship with him, only to have every obstacle thrown at her along the way. Around Robin, Regina is a lot more at ease and- well, nicer. She can let her guard down around him, she's softer and less abrasive than she is with anyone else, aside from perhaps Henry. He makes her happy- more than anyone has since Daniel. Regina's love for him is so strong that she would even be willing to throw it away from his own happiness, as shown by how she had him cross over the town line, knowing he wouldn't be able to return just so he could be with his wife, who is cursed. Ultimately, she just wants him to be happy and she would do anything in order to let him be happy.

After finding out that Zelena was actually his wife in disguise, Regina- who had begun to doubt the two of them would ever be able to be together- regains her hope and continues to fight for their happy ending. Because of the fact that she's set on the path of light, Regina no longer feels quite as murderous towards her sister, instead imprisoning her so that she can't hurt anyone. It doesn't help that Zelena is pregnant with Robin's child, and Regina would never imagine hurting Robin in that way, no matter how much she hates her sister.

The other person who's had a huge impact on Regina's life is Rumpelstiltskin. He's the one who really molded Regina into the evil queen that she once was, teaching her all about magic and darkness. Regina, for the longest time, had the greatest respect for Rumpel- until a few too many double-crossings. She won’t hesitate to try and get what she wants from him no matter what, feeling no particular feelings of loyalty to her previous mentor. The two no longer have a particularly good relationship, Regina's had to go up against him more times than she wants, but she doesn't fear him despite him being the Dark One. She doesn't underestimate him, either, knowing he's powerful and needs to be handled with care. If there are any positive feelings left for him, it's a grudging respect.

Another defining moment in Regina's life is when she was literally put in Snow White's shoes when the Author decided to rewrite everyone's history. Her life became the same as Snow White's almost identically, going through the same thing she put Snow through, by Snow herself. Unlike Snow, Regina's jaded and pessimistic nature are once again making things difficult as she feels that she'll never have a chance with Robin, both because she doesn't think he would feel that way about her and because he's going to get married. It takes pushing from Emma for Regina to work up the nerve to crash his wedding and confess and Regina really has to work up the nerve to finally act, afraid of being rejected by him. While she almost goes for it, instead she dives in front of Henry as he's about to be killed, sacrificing herself for him instead.
