First Person Sample:
[It takes a moment for the screen to focus as the feed turns on. Which is unusual when one stops to think about it, but that’s answered quickly as Fuery finally notices everything is up and running.]

Oh, it works. Hopefully all the parts were placed back correctly…

[He’ll worry about that later as he actually addresses the camera.]

This technology is really something else, a lot more complicated than fuses and transistors anyday. Has there been any sort of comparison of levels of industry from back home done? It could be a useful bit of information in regards to seeing what sort statistics that would bring to light, especially in combining and talking over the differences in such levels and what could be created from such notes.

Even though my viewpoints and home seem really antiquated compared to this world it could be fun to compare and contrast the catalysts for the differences or where in history the divergence between technology levels happened would be at least fascinating for any history inclined people out there.

I don’t want to seem presumptuous but with so many seemingly being brought here from such differing lives, talking about how our worlds operate and differ could be enlightening. Or at least make a good excuse to share stories with one ano--

[Whoops the feed just went staticky and there may or may not have been a slight white noise there before it goes black. Whoops.]

Third Person Sample:

There was something decidedly off and wrong in a way, at having these living creatures battle one another just so one could earn money and reputation. Then again one could say there was something wrong about using glory and honor of country to make men and women join the military to kill and die for said country, so maybe, he didn’t really have as much of a leg to stand on in regards to this.

“You don’t really find anything wrong with this do you?”

The Lillipup only looked back up at him before flopping over on to his back and wiggling as if to use the ground to scratch an itch. Fuery wasn’t certain if that was a negative or a positive, but considering the dog like creature hadn’t bitten him or any other aggressive behavior he wasn’t that bothered by all of this.

Maybe if he thought of it like field maneuvers it wouldn’t be so bad. He would be helping the little guy and any others that may end up with him get strong and capable to defend themselves and others, and if it was a means for others to intimidate or fight others, then he would have to adapt to such as well.

“It’ll be like leading a unit in a training exercise is all.”

The moment training was said the Lillipup’s ears perk up and he’s rolled back onto his feet and with tail wagging looks up Fuery expectantly. The act causes the worried look on his face to be replaced by a smile and the return of his optimism.

“Well, looks like someone’s eager, but let me first read up on how to train you first okay. I wasn’t a leading type to begin with so we’re going to have to learn how this works together.”

If it would help in getting back then he would adapt. He just had to keep reminding himself of this and keep going until he could get back.
