Character
Name: Perona
Series: One Piece
Timeline: episode 456 'A Huge Tomb and the Panty Debt!'
Canon Resource Links: Wiki

Personality:
Perona is your very average spoiled princess. She doesn't like being told what to do, and she hates it when people don't listen to her. She's not afraid to speak her mind. With this attitude, Perona can be very childish in making sure things go her way. She can even be clingy at times when she tries to find someone who will either protect her or cure her boredom. Her dream is to have cute animals attending to her needs; zombie animals, goth style, anything with stitches and patches. If it's cute with a deep voice, she would tell them to shut up. Long as it's cute, it doesn't have to talk. She had a tendency of telling her zombie bear, Kumashi, to shut up. She loves gloomy and scary places.

She has a tendency to troll people during the Thriller Bark Arc enough to scare Usopp to death. She enjoys teasing people and likes to send people into despair. It's mostly just to see reactions and the scares on the people. If anything, its all done to amuse her. There are times Perona can be gullible and naive enough to believe a very good liar, She can be picky sometimes depending on circumstances like when she was alone on an island with Roronoa Zoro. She chose to follow him as a means of relieving her own boredom and for the protection being near him offered. One thing she hates very much is to lose. Losing, to Perona is like taking candy away from a kid. She will hold a grudge for it.

Despite her childish behavior, Perona is confident and firm with her devil fruit power. She will tell the person their place, as she has done with Absalom. This happened when Absalom brought up how to treat her subordinate, the zombie bear. It wasn't his business to tell her how to treat the bear. She would tell him, it's her subordinate not his. This teen isn't afraid to speak her mind even if its in a self-centered manner. Despite her selfishness, Perona will help others if its for a good reason. There have been cases where Perona will compliment the enemy or anyone in a good way. One example is when she cheered on for Usopp when her Negative Ghosts didn't affect him. After a quick compliment then its back to business. She has no hate against the Straw Hats crew, only Usopp since he was the one who defeated her.

Perona isn't always a hateful person. There were times she displayed kindness to her enemies. One display of act was when she found Roronoa Zoro wounded. She brought him back to the castle with her(somehow) and treated his wounds. She tends to be a tsundere. Either way, Perona would go out of her way to help Roronoa Zoro to get him back on track using his poor mind as an excuse. In truth, she would rather be around someone than be by herself. If she could be helpful then she would get something out of it, right?

Strengths/Weaknesses:

Strengths:
-Perona is highly confident, she doesn't give up easily without a fight!
-She'll try anything if it's helpful, like first aid. She doesn't have good knowledge but she's willing to give it a try.
-Has leadership, she was one of the Mysterious Four and had lead her own animal zombie army.
-She's a troll. She enjoys toying with people until she's bored.
-And if it looks like your character is having a miserable moment, she will cheer them on. DON'T GIVE UP!

Weakness:
-Perona is used to depending on people. Taking care of herself will be a challenge.
-She hates being ignored. She will follow the person to the ends of the Earth, least until she's bored.
-When the going gets tough, she will high tail out of there. Perona prefers to look out for her own life when it's in jeopardy.
-She can be childish at times. Perona was raised spoiled.
-No powers means less trolling.

Samples
First Person Sample:
Hey, people. I got some woman thinking she's my mother. Some mother she is, she kicked me right out before I could say anything. Is everyone here this rude or something?

--AND this island, I wasn't suppose to come here! At least they were nice enough to give me this guy. I already got the perfect name for him, Moriah. Now if only he keeps his mouth shut.

Hey! You guys know more. I'm looking for a pokemon that looks like a teddy bear. They have something like that around here?

Third Person Sample:

A long and loud sigh escaped from the quiet forest. Once again misfortune has befallen on her. Some 'mother' has told her to start off her journey and now founded herself in a world completely opposite what she asked for. The only thing left to do was to go on the road towards the next town. Her supplies were ready as if they expected her. Of course, she had a cute pokemon, a ghost type to be exact, Gastly. Sure it was cute, in it's own way but that wasn't the problem. The ghost pokemon continued to follow this new 'master' unamused.

"Stupid Kuma..."

Perona shut her eyes as she blunt out her thoughts out loud, "why couldn't I have more servants than this guy? Why was I given a sleeping bag? I want a bed, I don't want to travel. Why don't I have my powers? Do they expect me to walk town to town? Why was I given only a small bento box but no hot chocolate--?

AND why is that stupid song playing over and over again?!"

Towards the end of her rant, she threw her arms up in the air with a tantrum as if she begged someone to hear her voice. The ghost pokemon leered at the owner and began to float away. Perona came to a brute stop as she watched her partner. Like hell she'd travel by herself. Perona gasped and yelled again, "ahhh! Where do you think you're going?! Don't go that way!"

Gastly leered back to the young woman unamused again. "Gasly, gasly."

"Shut up!"

Perona yelled immediately. "It's not very cute!" The pokemon shut it's mouth only to respond with two blinks of his eyes. After a moment of silence, Perona sighed peacefully, "ahh, much better. You look much better when you don't speak."

Perona opened her parasol and looked over her shoulder to her little servant companion. "Now come on. We're not sleeping out here tonight." The pokemon immediate responded but was cut off half way by Perona.

"I said SHUT UP!"
