Ugh, what was that number again --
[The view suddenly turns upside down as she dials in a number, eyes narrowed in concentration. There's a bit of urgency to her expression, from the way her eyebrows are slightly furrowed to the way her mouth is pressed into a grim line. When she finishes dialing she presses the pokenav to her ear like a regular phone, albeit it's still upside down.]
Hello? Is this thing -- UGH -- operator? Can you connect me to the United Forces? This is Avatar Korra, something's gone wrong --
[There's a low growl off to the side -- probably familiar to anyone who has been in Johto.]
I think I was... kidnapped, or -- hello? Is anyone there?
[She makes a frustrated sound and with a whoosh and a blur the pokenav goes flying before crashing into the snow. A growlithe can be seen eagerly bounding towards it while the girl is pounding on the door to the house behind her, shouting some not-so-nice things.]
Open up and tell me what's going on right now! There's an emergency back in Republic City and I need to get there right away --

Third Person Sample: Korra could only imagine what Tenzin would have to say if he were here in this moment. If she squinted hard enough and tilted her head to the side, the angry shopkeeper towering above her resembled him somewhat -- if he had half a head of hair.
By her feet, Akiak gnawed on his latest acquisition -- a TM, by the looks of it. Korra's mouth twisted into a nervous grin as she stared up at the man, trying her best to look as innocent as possible. When his scowl deepened, her shoulders slumped just a fraction -- yeah, he wasn't buying it. Not like Akiak burned off all his hair...
Okay, she should have been keeping a better eye on the Growlithe. And, just maybe, she hadn't used that TM for flamethrower on him when he was still so inexperienced (but in her defense, flamethrower sounded like such a cool move). He obviously wasn't ready for it, considering he had just used the move to cause the shopkeeper some premature balding.
She bit her lip, trying to come up with something to say. In the past, she might have blurted out how it was an accident -- and it was, but she also knew that in the end it didn't mean she wasn't responsible for what her pokemon had done. There was nothing she could about the man's hair, but the TM was probably well-chewed on by now. She couldn't even tell what move it held, Akiak had done away with the label long ago.
Sighing, Korra stood up as tall as she was able and looked the shopkeeper in the eye.
"How much for the TM?"
A slight quirk of the eyebrows said he had expected her make excuses. Korra felt a slight twinge of pride.
About ten minutes of bartering later, Korra's wallet weighed about 4000p less but her pride had skyrocketed. If only Tenzin had been there to see it -- though he probably would have prevented such an incident from happening in the first place.
"At least we got a TM out of this," Korra grinned as she knelt down to take the small object from Akiak. She idly turned it over in her hands, wondering what move it held when she discovered that the Growlithe had in fact left the label in one piece.

She had paid 4000P for flash of all moves.
Korra felt her jaw drop slightly and looked at the pokemon, which looked back at her with an eager expression.
