(This wiki page for the series itself is, unfortunately, incredibly small and not really at all informative, so I’ve also included a short bit of history for this canon.)
The series "Jimmy Two-Shoes" is set in a city called Miseryville, which is located on a planet that is clearly not Earth. Miseryville has three suns, a red sky, lots of fire, lava and volcanic mountains, is consistently hot and some of the water is red (though there appears to be some normal water too). The City of Miseryville itself is similar to a regular large city, but is almost entire populated by demons and monsters and is centered around a large, menacing factory. This is the Misery Inc. factory. What's Misery Inc.? Misery Incorporated produces everything in Miseryville, and all products are designed for the customers' optimal dissatisfaction. So of course, Miseryville lives up to its name by being an extremely miserable place.
Misery Inc. is owned by the ruler of Miseryville, Lucius Heinous VII, a red devil-like demon who revels in making everyone as miserable as possible. He also has a son named Beezy.
Also, Miseryville appears to be the only civilization on the entire planet, with everything outside the city being no man's land; wilderness, wastelands, and lakes literally made out of fire.
So if it wasn't already obvious, the implication is that Miseryville is indeed, Hell. The world being ruled by a devil bent on making everybody miserable named similarly to Lucifer, with a son named similarly to Beezlebub, is an especially dead pun not intended giveaway. Though never outright stated in canon, it is heavily implied that Jimmy is deceased. The reason he wound up in Hell, however, remains a mystery. Considering Jimmy’s personality as a whole, one might speculate that Jimmy ended up in this area of the afterlife on accident. Jimmy does not know how he died and has little to no memories of his life in the living world- in fact, he (and everyone else in Miseryville) don’t seem to be aware that they are dead, or whether or not they actually know that they are dead isn’t clear. He does seem to remember some small details about where he “used to live”, such as that it had snow. Otherwise, Jimmy rather enjoys his life in Miseryville with his best friends Beezy and Heloise.)
Personality:
There’s a reason why everyone calls Jimmy “Jimmy Two-Shoes”. Suffice it to say that the very essence of who Jimmy is as a person revolves around the fact that he’s almost in a constant state of happiness, nearly without regard to what horrible things might be going on in the world he lives in. He’s kind, helpful, and considerate to a fault, even to those kinds of people who would much rather you just stay kindly out of their way and let them be miserable in peace. The truth is, the more down in the dumps you are, the more likely it is that Jimmy’s going to go out of his way to see if he can turn that frown upside down. It’s hard to exactly say where Jimmy gets his overwhelming optimism from. He can’t remember anything from his previous life (nor does he even realize there ever was one), so it makes you wonder just exactly how he ended up in this afterlife to begin with. Whether it’s due to Jimmy doing terrible things in his past life or to some sort of clerical error, it’s clear that the kid is a good person with a heart of pure gold.
Jimmy tends to live life to the fullest without any responsibilities holding him back. He doesn’t seem to ever go to school nor does he have a job, and even with a dog to take care of he manages to spend almost nearly every waking moment of his existence doing whatever he wants. Usually, whatever he happens to be doing he does it to the fullest of his abilities, and has a darn good time doing it to boot. Jimmy usually spends an inordinate amount of time goofing off playing video games, playing with his dog, or coming up with insane (highly dangerous to a normal human) games to play with his friend Beezy.
Jimmy possesses a near limitless amount of energy that is both mental and physical, keeping him on the go constantly. It comes as no surprise that even in Hell Jimmy seems to be able to spread happiness wherever he goes. The thing about Jimmy is that this is just how he IS. He embodies happiness and optimism and it can have lasting effects on anyone he comes into contact with. To put it bluntly, Jimmy is such a happy person that the ruler of Miseryville- Lucius- constantly works to find some sort of way to make Jimmy miserable. If Jimmy can be made miserable in any capacity, then true Misery has been achieved. …Unfortunately, this is a task easier said than done. Even when Jimmy and Beezy are dragged to Misery Inc. to test some new, misery inducing products, they have absolutely zero effect on Jimmy. Each device causes Beezy despair and frustration, whereas Jimmy manages to find a way to turn each and every object into something he can both have fun with and enjoy.
While Jimmy’s optimism is the main trait of his personality, he’s not totally impervious to experiencing other emotions, such as anger, sadness, and- yes- even misery. The latter is rare, but certainly not unheard of. When Jimmy does get angry he can really get himself worked up if he lets something get to him, as any teenager is apt to do. Most of the time this can be seen in Jimmy’s rather competitive nature. This isn’t to say he would throw a tantrum if he lost, but there’s a very strong drive to succeed that pushes him to continue fighting against even the poorest of odds. He is also known to be severely protective of those he sees as friends and can easily find himself upset or concerned if they suddenly stopped spending time with him for whatever reason. In this way, Jimmy shows a bit of selfishness that he doesn’t even realize, a side of him that demands attention and companionship. That being said, this means that Jimmy isn’t at all fond of being alone. He would much rather be spending his time with others than he would being cooped up inside without anyone to talk to.
Jimmy is also prone to jealousy. Not so much would he be envious of someone having things he doesn’t, but when someone he’s very close to is involved he seems to take it as a personal thing, unintentionally or not. In the episode “Heloise’s Secret Admirer”, Heloise suddenly begins spending a lot of time with a fast-talking con artist known as Peep in an effort to make him jealous over Peep gaining her affection. However, Jimmy doesn’t see this as a romantic thing, but instead sees it as “I’d rather spend time with my good friend Peep than you, Jimmy.” Jimmy isn’t controlling by any means, but some subtle hints have the tendency to fly right over his head, leading him to unintentionally misconstrue the intention entirely.
Somewhat ironically, his ridiculous optimism has the tendency to trip him up as Jimmy will do anything he thinks is good, whether or not it’s actually the “right” thing to do. All of this is unintentional on Jimmy’s part, and his gullibility and naivety can be constant hindrances to him. If he isn’t careful, someone could easily manipulate him to do something as long as he’s under the impression that it’s “right.”
While Jimmy is gullible and a bit slow at times to pick up on certain cues, he is by no means stupid. In fact, he’s remarkably intelligent in ways that you might not expect. He might not be able to create insane inventions like Heloise can and he might not have a lot of street smarts on his side, but in a pinch Jimmy can solve problems and produce solutions that otherwise might not have been thought of. This solution might not be conventional or the most obvious, but it works.

STRENGTHS
•You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..
Jimmy’s positive outlook on life in general is staggering. To Jimmy, everything can be good, or made into something good if you really try hard enough. Even if your heart is made of stone and everything in your world is dark and grey, Jimmy won’t rest until he finds a way to make that world as bright as he possibly can. It’s something about him that he wouldn’t be able to shake even if he wanted to. For example, if Jimmy was trapped and alone in the wilderness without any idea if he would be rescued, he’d be focusing instead on the fact that he’s lost and alone, but the fact that he’s in good shape. I’m still alive, and I’m ok. I might be in trouble but I can get out of this if I work hard enough.
•Sticks and stones may break my bones, but not much will actually hurt me.
Jimmy is surprisingly resilient. He appears to have an incredibly high tolerance for pain, and whenever he does manage to get injured he generally emerges practically unscathed. (Partially due to cartoon logic, surely) He also seems to be capable of healing rather quickly when he DOES get hurt and seems to be unaware of the terrible injuries he receives half the time. While back home he can’t exactly die- and neither can he here really- Jimmy might brush off an injury a lot more easily than someone else would. Scrapes and bruises? That’s nothing. Sprained ankle? Annoying, but heck if he won’t keep on walking. Honestly you might have to give him a concussion or something broken to seriously put him down, and even then his tendency to bounce back is something to be desired.
•Skitty get stuck up a tree? Hold on I’ll get it!
Jimmy’s oddly tall for a supposed 15 year-old (try six feet!) and coupled with being awkwardly lanky and thin he’s actually extremely flexible and surprisingly strong for someone of his stature. Being on the road a lot won’t be that much of a problem for him, and at least he’d have a relatively easy time weaving his way over rough terrain if he had to for whatever reason. He’s got pretty decent stamina going for him as well, what with that seemingly endless energy he’s got. ….Essentially, if your Skitty was stuck at the top of a tree, he’d very well be able to climb up there and get it.
•What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
As previously mentioned, Jimmy’s got a remarkable tendency to bounce back- not just from physical injuries, but from emotional wounds as well. While he’s never been forced to go through a very serious low point in his life (such as the death of someone close to him) he’s generally pretty good at recovering after something particularly bad or depressing has happened. Like any normal person, repeated incidents would wear down on him, surely, but he’ll always be able to pull himself from the depths to get back to his normal, cheerful self again. Whether he can work through it alone or with the help of a friend, he’ll always be able to get there.
•I think I can, I think I can
Jimmy is a pretty smart kid. Definitely no rocket scientist, not necessarily book smart, and a bit slow on the uptake at times, but he’s got what it takes to figure a way out of a sticky situation in a pinch. He’s prone to moments of brilliance and ingenuity, while other times something completely obvious will manage to slip right under his radar. It’s not that he’s dumb…he just seems to be blissfully unaware, sometimes. Ignorance is bliss, after all. Though it’s debatable as to how much of his apparent ignorance (at least as far as being on to Heloise about her crush on him is concerned) isn’t deliberate. He does show sometimes that he may realize more than he lets on, but he may keep up his appearance of ignorance in the fear that being involved with Heloise in a way that’s anything more than just friends would spoil their friendship.
WEAKNESSES
•Oh sure, I’ll help you get that! ….wait, this isn’t stealing is it?
Unfortunately, Jimmy’s bubbly attitude and ever present optimism doesn’t come without its drawbacks. He’s very naive and gullible, and if you’re a smooth talker and know exactly how to sugar coat your heinous master plan into something innocent, Jimmy might find himself doing your dirty work for you without even realizing it. (Basically, let’s hope he’s informed about Rockets before too late.) Of course this can be a bit of a stretch, but if Jimmy is fully under the impression that what he’s doing is “right”, then he’ll do it, even when it truly isn’t.
•PICKLES MAN
Jimmy has a very strange, very deep seated fear of pickles. It’s to the point where it’s a phobia of his that he can’t exactly explain other than by saying “Me and pickles just don’t mix!” Oddly enough it’s not just him not being fond of the taste, either. He’s legitimately afraid of them. Jimmy, for whatever reason, seems to have terribly bad luck befall him whenever he’s around pickles, which is why he’s so scared of them. At least there aren’t any pickle Pokemon out there yet.
•It’s like the zombie apocalypse and nobody told me about it!
As evident in the episode “I Am Jimmy”, Jimmy also has a fear of being left alone, one that he probably doesn’t seem to realize as much as he does the pickles. He and his dog are the only two awake in all of Miseryville for a whole day, and at first he doesn’t understand what’s going on and really starts to get antsy over it. When he realizes everyone’s still there and just asleep, he proceeds to spend most of the day goofing off and doing things he might not be able to otherwise. After a short time, however, he starts to decide that he’s had enough of not having anyone to talk to. Eventually it gets to the point where he really loses himself a bit, and not even a full day had gone by yet. Of course having Pokemon with him would help against crippling loneliness, but he wouldn’t do very well if he had to be on the road totally by himself for very long.
•If I can’t have you nobody can!
As previously mentioned, Jimmy has jealous tendencies. He enjoys the companionship of his friends, and while he doesn’t mind having some time to himself now and then, he’s usually his happiest when he’s with others. However, if those friends are suddenly spending a lot of time with someone else and not him, you can be sure he’ll get to the bottom of it. He’s tried to get his friends Beezy and Heloise (who already don’t get along very well) to be more friendly toward each other, but if they suddenly began hanging out with each other and not him, he wouldn’t be pleased.
•You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.
While Jimmy by no means would ever have a meltdown of Hulk proportions and it is rare that he’ll ever get REALLY mad over something, he’d be inhuman if he didn’t. Jimmy hates being left out of things, such as the case with his friends doing things without him. He’ll deem it as unfair and allow himself to get pretty miffed over it if he isn’t careful. Jimmy wears his heart on his sleeves, and while it’s hard to break it, it’s not all that hard to do something that he might take personally- …if it doesn’t fly right over his head to begin with. One thing you can never do, though, is violate Jimmy’s trust. If there’s one thing he does it’s trust people unconditionally

First Person Sample:
[It’s a bit early in the morning when a video comes through, revealing a particularly disheveled looking boy with a lopsided grin on his face. It’s not hard to tell why he looks so bedraggled, considering his already wild hair is sticking up in all sorts of directions. He reaches up to try to brush it down, but it sticks back up again almost immediately, soft crackling and popping noises able to be heard as he runs his fingers through.]
Hey, so uh….does anybody out there know of any way to get rid of a whole bunch’a static?
[As he says this, his Electrike pushes his head beneath Jimmy’s arm and licks his face, more crackling able to be heard as they make contact.]
Ahahaa, quit boy, quit! You’re making it worse!
[By now his hair is a wonderful mess, not that his
ahogeweird cowlick didn’t make it so before.]I fell asleep with Electrike here and I guess some of his electricity must’ve rubbed off on me..
[That’s a bit of an understatement, since every small move Jimmy makes can be heard coupled with lots of staticy crackling and popping.]
Eheh, not that I mind too much, but I might as well say goodbye to straight hair at this rate! I dunno though, I think it looks pretty cool!
[Going for that punk rock look, Jimmy?
And with that he cuts the feed.]
Third Person Sample:
Well he’d only been here for a few weeks and it already felt like forever since Jimmy woke up in a strange bed that wasn’t his own, with a lady claiming to be his mom rushing him out the door to start his Pokemon adventure. It was definitely confusing, considering he never remembered actually having a mom. Not like it had bothered him before since he hadn’t really thought about it, but still.
He had had some time to get his bearings after learning that nobody else followed him here from home, like Beezy and Heloise. The cheerful music following him everywhere was new, but not at all something he couldn’t get behind. To be quite honest, he really liked it. It was nice, if a bit repetitive at times. Probably the most exciting about this place were the Pokemon. Nothing of the sort existed back home, and he really couldn’t get enough of them. They seemed to be on every route, watching him curiously as he walked past with his new friend Electrike by his side. The dog-like Pokemon seemed so familiar when they first met…he reminded him a lot of Cerbee.
Jimmy hummed softly to himself as he made his way down the dusty path, letting his Electrike walk alongside him out of his pokeball, which he’d taken to doing recently. It wasn’t all that hard to get these little tunes that seemed to be everywhere stuck in his head, but the one he hummed at the moment had become particularly burned into his brain.
“I dunno, this one’s pretty catchy! Don’tcha think?” He asked the Pokemon, reaching up to hold onto the straps of his backpack as he walked. The Electrike let out a growly Rrrrike! in response, bounding a little to keep up with Jimmy’s unusually long strides.
“It’s not as good as the last one on the route before, but it’s up there!” Apparently he found comparing the different songs attached to each route to be a rather fun pastime. …Though by this point he wasn’t entirely sure what Route he was on. It couldn’t be all that far from New Bark Town, since he’d been forced to travel on foot this entire time. It was starting to get pretty lonely traveling on his own, but the stops at each town gave him chances to meet new people, at least. Plus, that’s what the PokeGear was for.
“Yaknow, something tells me the next route will have even better music than the last!” He exclaimed with a grin, turning a corner to head further down the route. So far there had been lots of trees and Bug Pokemon, but he hadn’t tried to catch anything. Better try to get to the next town first. Then again….that cave they passed just then looked pretty inviting.
…and if he got lost, well. …That’s what PokeGears are for.
